About Chapin Pharmacy
- At Chapin Pharmacy we combine the latest technology with a superior staff to ensure that your prescriptions are filled with speed and accuracy. Our Script-pro robotic dispensing systems (affectionately known as “Robbie”) fills 50% of all our prescriptions with an accuracy of within 1 pill for every 1000 counted. Along with our pharmacy management system we are able to track your prescription from drop off to checkout. Using bar-code scanning we verify each prescription filled to ensure your safety while getting you under way in record time.
Personalized Healthcare Solutions
Chapin Pharmacy can help parents with our younger patients. We offer a free measuring spoon, dropper or syringe with all liquid medicines to ensure the proper dosage. We also know that for parents it can be very difficult to get your child to take their medicine. With the Flavorx medication flavoring system, we can re-flavor most medicines to be more palatable. We can even compound some medications into liquid for not only children but animals we well.

Kara McBride, PharmD.
Pharmacist In-Charge
Kara graduated from South University School of Pharmacy in 2017 with a PharmD. Originally from Pennsylvania, she grew up in Lexington, SC. She loves all that glitters and the color pink! When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son going on adventures!

Lauren Drinkard
Pharmacy Technician
Lauren has been a pharmacy technician since 2016. She loves the Chapin community. When she’s not working, you can find her out on the lake or at the gym.
Jonathan Keese
Pharmacy Technician
Jonathan has been working in community pharmacy since the age of 16. He loves taking care of our Chapin patients. To unwind, he enjoys a good jigsaw puzzle or hike in the mountains.
William “Fred” Falls
Delivery Driver
Fred was born and raised in Rock Hill and moved to Chapin in 1994 with his wife and two boys. He retired from the U.S. Geological Survey in 2018 and began a part-time position with Chapin Pharmacy as a delivery driver.
Jeanie Thompson
Pharmacy Clerk
Originally from Charleston, Jeanie relocated to Chapin during her career with AT&T (Lucent Technologies/Avaya) in 1983. After retiring twice, Jeanie joined the staff at Chapin Pharmacy in 2012 and enjoys meeting and greeting the patients she serves there. "Chapin is such a great community with a lot of great people." Jeanie enjoys her church, family, cooking, the lake life and traveling with her husband, Trucky. She has two children and 3 grandchildren.
Rachael Carman
Pharmacy Clerk
Rachael has worked as a clerk at Chapin Pharmacy since 2023. She loves serving the Chapin community and working with her pharmacy family every day. For fun, Rachael enjoys going thrift shopping and spending time with her dogs.
